Description
In this work, an abstract but linear red man is lifting a weight to know what hour it is. Time is the continuous, irreversible progression of existence moving through the present, and into the future. In physics, time is the fourth dimension and can slow down or speed up depending on speed and gravitational pull. The flow of time moves in only one direction because of increasing universal entropy (the second law of thermodynamics) meaning on a human scale time is tracked using calendars and clocks to schedule events, measure duration, define historical eras’ or calculate personal lifespans. This work is a study in patterns, movement, and color with an airplane, bird and seashell to ground the red man.
