Animal Fairy Tales Series

In this series of collages, I reinterpret classic fairy tales such as Cinderella and Little Red Riding Hood, placing animals in the leading roles. These works draw on the magical and imaginary worlds of enchanted beings and distant lands, filled with fantastical forces and mythical creatures such as fairies, wizards, and goblins.

While fairy tales are often associated with childhood, their layered meanings and moral lessons have long appealed to adults as well.

Through the use of talking animals and symbolic characters, these collages explore familiar narratives in a new way. The presence of animals allows the stories to feel both playful and timeless, creating a sense of wonder while reinforcing themes of transformation, justice, and imagination.

This collection brings together fantasy and storytelling to re-envision fairy tales through an animal-centered lens.
