Description
This represents gifts of food in wrappers such as the banana leaf wrapped rice and fish wrapped in newspaper because, well who does not appreciate an edible gift? There are also fish and crab tied in kelp “strings” inspired by how roadside vendors here on the Big Island of Hawaii display their wares. All of the disciples of Jesus were fishermen so some might see this as symbolizing how the supposed son of god fed his flock spiritually by producing enough fish to go around. Have faith your needs will always be met through belief in what we cannot fully understand yet sustains us spiritually.
