Ms. Pronghorn in Prairie Dress Between Red Curtains

$900.00

Description

A worldly Pronghorn or “American antelope” steps out in a long layered pale blue prairie dress inset with yellow floral cut-outs and a lace-up waist and blue shoes. The pronghorn (Antilocapra americana) is the fastest land animal in the Western hemisphere and only surviving member of the family Antilocapridae and can reach top speeds of 55-60 mph. Our heroine sports light aqua luna moth wings for arms and wears a black wide-brimmed saucer hat where a snowy owl sits. At her waist is a tan and yellow songbird in a small nest of pasta as she confidently marches between translucent red curtains surrounded by pears. Pronghorn symbolize the Great American West and in Native American culture are viewed as wise guides that teach respect for the land and living in balance with nature. Pronghorn embody swift action, keen alertness, instinct over intellect, and harmony with nature. They also represent the ability to move quickly and decisively once a clear choice or path is identified. Here my pronghorn is on her way in the world with a spring in her step.
