Description
This image was inspired by the loud chirping of birds that wakes me up every morning on the back deck. Saffron finches, tiny brown faced finches, miniature puffin-like Java finches, cardinals and black-neck doves all add to the symphony. I added nubby green soursop fruits in the lower foreground as they are a favorite of the backyard birds. The big brown egg in the background symbolizes life hatching around fragments of maps of the Hawaiian islands. Living in a rainforest means being immersed in the cycles of nature up close.
