Description
In this collage I have juxtaposed midcentury dancers (at an Alabama school) with traditional Thai temple dancers with a gigantic hairy moth tumbling through time and space at sunset. While I am not coordinated enough to be a dancer, I appreciate the art form, both ballet and Thai. I have spent a lot of time in Thailand and when in Bangkok I always visit the Erawon shrine where patrons pay the dancers to do a special dance for their health or other wishes. I like that physical energy is expended to perhaps grant answers to a persons’ dream.
