Rainforest Finds with Garden Magic

In this nature collage I placed small flowers and scattered petals from the rainforest on a moss and fern covered Ohia log in creeping daisy ground cover. I added frosty cecropia pods and a split  open silvery-red cecropia pod skin and a dark maroon hibiscus calyx, brown-faced finch nest, blue ginger buds, Suriname cherries, pale green pitch apple from an Autograph tree, wisp of fairy moss, spike of yellow and red bromeliad and a ripening tomato and half-ripe strawberry from the garden.

It is a Hawaiian rainforest smorgasbord for the fairies that I imagine inhabit it when we are not looking, especially when stinkhorn mushrooms sprout in the moss overnight and collapse when the sunlight hits them.
